The heart of Bloomington is directly connected to campus, and Kirkwood Avenue is the main artery that links IU to the vibrant downtown atmosphere and is just blocks from the Sample Gates at the historical west edge of campus.

Whether you're looking for down-home Hoosier cooking or world cuisines, you'll find what your palate desires in Bloomington. Fourth Street, also known as "restaurant row," features several Bloomington favorites and is adjacent to Kirkwood Avenue and the west end of campus.
